The dream is becoming a reality. After six years of planning, designing, and building, HÖFÐI - an adventure resort like no other - is set to open its doors in 1st of March 2026.

As the home base of Viking Heliskiing, HÖFÐI redefines the heliskiing experience, combining world-class adventure with wellness and exclusivity in the heart of Iceland’s untouched nature. The resort is located just 25 minutes from Akureyri, the capital of North Iceland. It is perched on a cliff overlooking the breathtaking surroundings of Eyjafjörður, the country’s longest fjord. HÖFÐI boasts 42 beautifully designed rooms offering guests comfort and style to unwind.
